ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Despite being a keen lover of suspense and thriller novels, it took me many years before I realised that I could write a novel too. The first, The Paper Factory, was published in 2013 and his second self-published novel is due to be released in October 2023. And yes, there were a few first drafts in between that are still gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere. Although born in Scotland I’ve spent many years outside the country, living in London, Budapest, Warsaw and Bucharest and so my novels tend to have a strong international flavour.
Like many new novelists, particularly without any formal writing qualification, I initially pursued my writing dream with a touch of naivety, making all the mistakes that many new authors make. Critical feedback (mostly constructive) led me down a path of exploration and I began to dig deeper into the mine of information for new and established writers that has exploded on the internet in the past 15 years thanks mostly due to the ease of being able to publish a novel online.
Authoreze has been built to provide an easy to navigate index of many of the most useful websites and tools that both new and experienced authors may want to reference to speed them on their writing journey.
